A Renewal Price You Can Read in Advance
Reliable registered agent coverage for Idaho entities. Flat $99/year for the office address, same-day scanning of court papers, and reminders before state deadlines.
One disclosure, then the argument. ID Registered Agent.org sells the alternative described here. The argument itself does not rest on our opinion of anybody; it rests on a number that is absent from a competitor's website, and an absence is something you can verify as easily as we did.
The Free Year Holds Up
Inc Authority puts twelve months of registered agent service into its formation packages at no charge. We looked for the conditions that usually accompany an offer like that, a setup charge, a shortened term, a clause that recovers the value elsewhere, and came away without any. For a new Idaho business trying to keep its first-year outlay small, twelve free months of a service the state requires is a real benefit, and telling you to refuse it would be silly.
Year Two Has No Posted Figure
After those months, the price stops being available. We went looking for it in the places a renewal rate normally lives: the package comparison, the frequently asked questions, the front page. It is on none of them. The pattern this market runs on suggests the number surfaces at checkout or during a phone call.
We are not going to supply a substitute figure. Making one up would wreck the single claim this page rests on, namely that a rate printed in advance beats a rate you have to ask for. The structural point survives without any invented number anyway. An Idaho entity carries a registered agent for as long as it exists on the register, so the renewal is the number that governs lifetime cost, and a renewal nobody has quoted you is a comparison you are not able to run.
There is a practical version of the same problem. Renewals in this market are ordinarily charged automatically, which means the first moment an unpublished figure becomes visible is often a line on a card statement. From there the options are to pay whatever it says or to file a change of agent. Idaho keeps that second option cheap, as the closing section explains, but nobody enjoys making the decision while looking at a bill they did not expect.

Ours Is on the Pricing Page, in Advance
Ready when you are. Ordering takes about five minutes.
Order HereNinety-nine dollars for the first year and ninety-nine for every year after, written on the pricing page where you can read it without beginning an order or speaking to anyone.
Documents get scanned the day they arrive at our Idaho office and emailed straight through, with the file kept in your portal. Your entity's public record shows our Idaho address. Reminders track your anniversary month, which is when Idaho wants the report. One more number, also posted: $15 for each piece of general mail you ask us to image.
Since the page is about openness, here is the part that works against us. BetterLegal publishes $90 annually, below our $99. Our claim is a position among the lowest published Idaho rates, with the weight resting on published.
Filing the Change After Inc Authority
Idaho accepts one statement covering the agent slot, the office address, or the pair, and nothing on it is numbered. It is delivered to the Secretary of State. Online it is free; on paper the state adds $20 for manual handling. Line the new agent up before you file, because the statement has to name somebody who has agreed to serve, and close the Inc Authority account only once the record confirms the change. Our Idaho change of agent guide covers the rest, and it settles any question about a renewal charge you were never quoted.
